12-13th OCTOBER 2021
This one-and-a-half-day event focuses on multiple security-oriented research areas that have been identified as of high priority by EU. Special focus will be put on results of the three H2020 Critical Infrastructures (CI) security projects – SATIE, SAFECARE, SecureGas.
Between the 12th and the 13th of October 2021, more than 70 attendees are expected to join the event and have the opportunity to attend keynote speeches and projects presentations, focused workshop and demos.
SATIE, SAFECARE and SecureGas are three EU funded projects, related to critical infrastructure protection, and more specifically cyber and physical security of airport, hospital and natural gas infrastructures .
All projects are reaching to their end, having achieved concrete and innovative results in their domain. These results will be presented by all three consortia, during this upcoming event, through focused presentations and interactive sessions.
As a participant, you will be able to attend several sessions regarding best practices, innovative technological solutions, security frameworks and demonstration results, all contributing to the great challenge of making the aforementioned sectors more safe and secure.
Keynote speakers will also present policies, frameworks, security studies, emerging findings as well as lessons learned.
Due to the current situation we would like to inform you that the 3S Event will take place in a hybrid mode (both physical and virtual). Please indicate the type of participation that is most convenient for you by choosing one of the two respective tickets during the registration step.

Scope
The conference will showcase the key areas in cyber- and physical security which have been investigated by the three participating projects. The agenda addresses the following key processes preparedness/early warning, detection and mitigation/response, which are identified as the key ones for the protection of Critical Infrastructures in aviation, energy and healthcare industries. During this event you will have the opportunity to find out how three different projects (SATIE, SAFECARE and SecureGas) – which are in the forefront of research and innovation for protection of Critical Infrastructures – are addressing those issues.

The 3S Clustering Event will take place in the Fodele Beach hotel, which is a five star hotel in Fodele, Crete, built in the Renaissance style with the rooms in the form of bungalows, lying in a unique location with a breath-taking view, on the exquisite sandy beach of the Fodele area.
